Life Cycle Analysis:  This portion of the website will be to explain the life cycle analysis of each appliance,
which is the best way to describe which appliance is the best.

-
Life Cycle Analysis is:
- (The Cost of The Appliance) + (Energy Used Per Year)+(Lifetime of Appliance)+(Cost of Energy)+(Replacement
Costs)-(The Salvage Costs)

-For this project the lifetime of all appliances is 10 years.
-The cost of energy is 0.08 per kWh and $11.00 per MMBTU.
-There is no replacement for these appliances since we expect that all will be able to work correctly for the entire 10 years.
-There is no salvage costs since we are not trading in any previous appliances.

-
Life Cycle for Each Appliance:

-Appliance #1:  $1,103.60
-Appliance #2:  $809.60
-Appliance #3:  $4153.20
-Appliance #4:  $938.00
-Appliance #5:  $1588.4
-Appliance #6:  $3012.80
-Appliance #7:  $845.20
-Appliance #8:  $1050.00
-Appliance #9:  $3229.90
-Appliance #10:  $3223.99
-Appliance #11:  $982.80
-Appliance #12:  $1379.60

Questions For Us to Answer:  By the resources we have gathered, we have the information to complete
the following questions.

-How much additional money (if any) you need to invest to make your house appliances more energy efficient?
-We have found that the only one of the appliances that we have researched besides the ones given by the contractor
is the best for our new home.  Therefore to answer this question we take the price of the appliance(water heater) which
we found was more cost effective minus the price of the appliance(water heater) that the contractor gave us.  Therefore
the amount of money we have to spend is $179.99.  To calculate this take the price of appliance #10 minus appliance #3.

-What will the total energy savings (kWh) per year if you replace the appliances with the energy efficient appliances?
-Actually the Water heater which we are using uses more kWh then the other water heater, but is less expensive
because it uses gas.  We used 2563.1 more kWh.

-How much money will you save per year if you replace the appliances with the energy efficient appliances?
-To figure out this question we take the amount of money we save over the 10 year period which is $929.21(to get this
amount you take the life cycle analysis of appliance #3 minus appliance #10) divided by the number of life years of the
appliance which is 10 years.  We will save $92.92 a year.

-What will be the overall (all appliances together) pay back period?
-To figure out the pay back period you take the amount of additional money we spent($179.99) divided by the amount
the amount of money you will save per year as in the last question($92.92).  This will give us 1.94 years.

-How much money will you save over a period of 10 years.
-To figure this out we take the extra amount of money we have to spend($179.99) and minus that from the total money
we will save which is ($929.21) which is equal to $749.22.

-We were suppose to put our kWh reduction into a simulator online, but since my kWh usage went up i can not do this.
